Community Volunteers

Community Volunteers

This form is intended for faculty, staff, and non-students.

Thank you for your interest in joining the Non-students Community Volunteers to assist the new students as they move into their residence halls on Sunday, August 26.

Please understand the purpose of the Community Volunteers is starting our students’ first-year experience on a positive note and make each student’s adjustment to MSU an enjoyable occasion.

Community Volunteers are organized to help us greet students and their parents and make moving onto campus a warm, welcoming experience.

Community Volunteers will provide information and assistance with the actual move-in process such as greeting families, operating elevators, and helping outside with parking.

Community Volunteers are not an opportunity to promote and distribute materials for student organizations, sororities, fraternities, religious groups, local businesses, etc.

Questions about the Community Volunteers and the Residence Hall Move-in can be directed to Terie Snyder 517-432-2505 or snydert@msu.edu or Amanda Love @ loveama2@rhs.msu.edu
